Powalert® communicates exclusively via SMS, making it cost-effective to run. Using a Pay-As-You-Go SIM card keeps costs minimal — typically only a few cents per alert.

To keep your SIM active, send a simple SMS (such as a temperature status request) once a month. Some network providers reclaim inactive numbers if unused for long periods.

Network Flexibility

Powalert® is open to all networks. You can use any standard Pay-As-You-Go or contract SIM card, but we recommend selecting the network with the strongest signal in your area for optimal reliability.

Battery-Free Safety

Powalert® contains no lithium batteries. Instead, it uses a capacitance-based energy storage system that safely holds enough charge to send final alerts when mains power is lost — ensuring dependable performance without battery risks.
